Bayern Munich will opt for Dembele if Sane’s deal falls through

Bayern Munich will consider a move for Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele instead, if they fail to sign Leroy Sane, who currently plays for Manchester City, according to many reports.
With the departure of their experienced wingers, Arjen Robben, and Franck Ribery, the German club had focused on Germany forward Leroy Sane to replace the departed veterans. They hope to reinforce their squad before the beginning of next season.
“If the Sane transfer fails, Bayern also have Ousmane Dembele on their list,” reported Bild.
France prodigy Dembele, 22, was linked to current Bundesliga winner before moving to Borussia Dortmund from Rennes for 15 million euros three years ago.
A season later, he became the most expensive player in Bundesliga history for an incoming or outgoing transfer when he signed for Barcelona in 2017. He moved to the Catalan giant for a record fee of 125million euros.
Questions remain as to whether Bayern will be able to afford the French international who has a contract with Barcelona until 2022.
Earlier this year, Bayern broke their very own transfer when they sign Lucas Hernandez for 80 million euros as they hope to revitalize the aging squad and compete for the champions league title next season.
However, their hope of improving the squad before next season has frustrated by the price tags on their choices. It will cost millions of euros to get the signature of the Sane or Dembele.
Furthermore, the Bayern president has dismissed any hope of the club breaking the 100-million-euro mark for a player this transfer window.
